I would pick one color you like or a inspiration piece (like a painting, pottery, chair etc) and use that as your inspiration for a color pallette.

This is a great tool to use to find a color pallet you like. You can create your own or look at other peoples.

Not to be Buzz Killington, but don’t invest mental energy into this house yet. You still have inspection and financing and titling to get through. Unfortunately there are still opportunities for things to go wrong, and it’s much harder to break-up with a house when you’ve already started decorating it as your own home in your daydreams. First and foremost, this is a really expensive business transaction. Try to stay as detached as possible until you get those keys in your hand (and then you can go happy crazy!)

I agree with Lovekiss. Lots of contracts fall through. Wait until after the inspection and appraisal come back to mentally decorate everything!

@blondie_bride:  i agree w/ the PP, but when you are finally in the process of picking color schemes and such, design-seeds.com is a great website for color combos.
