I love the pink and blue, but I’m not too sure about the orange. Would it be an accent?

I think two is fine…as long as the others are only accents. I love colors!

It’s a little too neon-y for me BUT I’m a soft pinks/pastel kind of girl so I’m biased 🙂

I think if you do two of them as main colors and use the others as accents, it could work. I’d choose a warm and a cool color as your main colors (pink and green, pink and blue, orange and green, orange and blue), and use the remaining colors sparingly.

Love the green and blue together. I was thinking of doing something that ‘Popped’, but felt it would take too much co-ordinating. Go for it gal

I love it! This will look awesome if it is done properly. That being said, I would definitely think long and hard about which colour to put your girls (if you’re having BMs) in because some people can’t pull off the bright/neon.

It depends… how are you planning on using the different colors?  I’ve been to weddings that had fuschia and orange as the main colors, then a bright green as an accent color and it looks great because the green comes in through the flowers.  Adding the blue into the mix also might be hard to do.

I think it’s fine!  I love bright colors, and few things in real life will appear as those swatches on your monitor will.

Our wedding is orange and aqua, with pops of yellow, fuschia and bright green.

So your wedding doesn’t get overwhelmed by them, I would pick a toned down version of one of them for attendants attire, stick with another for flowers for them and use a base of white for a lot of stuff which will make these pop.

My girls are wearing aqua and carrying only orange flowers, my bouquet will be a mix of brightness, guys have orange ties and white flowers, and my tables have white flowrs in a center vase with bud vases with oranges and yellows around it, plus tissue paper poms in orange and aqua for the ceremony and paper lanterns in assorted brightness throughout.

Good luck 🙂

@CatyLady: Great board!  I wish I was ballsy enough to do the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses in the top picture…so pretty and colorful!

I’m using those exact green and blue colors!  I was actually thinking of having a pink or orange thrown in there but I was worried about coordinating it all.  I think it can be done, I just didn’t want to deal with it.  Although if I did do pink and/or orange I would have done them as floral accents and probably kept them on the softer side.  I like the idea of bright colors through, it’s different than what’s been done and it’s refreshing!

@tntrav44: Thanks. I know me too!

@Mrs.W2012: No worries, I like doing them. Yes I was going to do the same – same dresses but different colours but as @tntrav44 siad if only I had the balls to do it. Please let us know what you decide.

@Mrs.W2012: that is almost my color palette…the blue I chose is turquoise…well actually the Jade color from David’s Bridal. I am also having an outdoor wedding so I think the strong colors won’t overwhelm.

I am using the Jade as my base (turquoise from tableclothfactory.com matches the color Jade from DB) in Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, table runners, overlays with the hot pink, orange, and green being picked up in the flowers and in the chinese lanterns that will be hanging in the tent.

A couple of mock-up photos below.
