Okay, a have a bit of a dilemma. I ordered an ivory-ish Melissa Sweet for my wedding dress in December. It’s in, it’s gorgeous, I’m madly in love. My fiance, who is super SUPER picky about clothes (which I totally get, I am too) has now decided that she’d like to wear all white -like a custom suit of some sort.
Is that going to look funny? Should she wear ivory too?
I haven’t said anything really because this is the first thing she has been super excited about as far as details go. She found the suit online today and sent me an email saying THIS IS THE ONE!!! I don’t wanna stomp all over her thunder you know?
I need some bee-ish suggestions! Please!

Hmmm… Honestly, I don’t know whether it would look weird or not. Why don’t you take a look at the photos side by side and see how they look together. If you think it looks a little weird, you could say something about how much you love the suit and how well-suited it is to her (no pun intended), but that perhaps she could find one in the same shade as your dress. Whatever you do, go into the conversation as excited for her as you are for yourself– finding the perfect dress (or suit) is a big, exciting deal!

Our friends just got married in Hawaii and she had on an ivoryish dress and he had on a white pair of flowing pants and white top. But what helped tie the two outfits together was the flowers. Very pretty.
