I think you notice it cause you know it’s a J.   when we went diamon shopping, the jeweler placed a row of same size, cut, clarity diamond, only diff was color side by side …and for the life of us , neither of us could tell what was what.  They all look like beautiful white diamond.  So unless youre friends are a bunch of professional diamond dealers, no one’s going to notice in person or in picture.

I have an H and it’s an oval which tend to show color much more than in rounds. In certain lighting I see some warmth but in others it looks perfectly white, it doesnt bother me at all.

you can see some warmth here

My diamond is a G color according to my paperwork, and while I don’t think it looks as yellow as it appears in photographs, it doesn’t look nearly as white as the previous diamond I had that was also a G color.  Does it not look warmer than a G to you ladies?

Aweds89:  I can’t see any warmth to be honest!!! It looks great!!

I upgraded from a G .7 to a 1ct H, and I can’t see the difference in color.

Here’s my H

Your ring is beautiful but if you are like me and will obsess about something that only you will notice then do what will make you happy and give you piece of mind and go for the I. Like people said you will only notice when you have it next to a stone of a higher grade. I went with BN also and went for an F color.
