    @baileyjosephine:  You can use whatever palette you love. It’s not the colors that will make the difference, it’s the lighting.

    Does the venue allow you to use candles? If not, you can use battery operated LED candles in lanterns, or Bttery operated candelabra.

    My daughter’s venue is very dark as well.  Beautiful wood walls, stone and stainless steel.  She is using colors very similar to yours.  She is also using lots of metallics like mercury glass and sequin linens.  Hers is a winter wedding so there will also be some iridescent icicles and a few snowflakes.  She has lots of candles and will also have uplighting.  She described the uplighting she wanted to her dj as enough to be special without being obnoxious. No color washing, just uplights.

    I think your venue is beauthiful and has wonderful ambiance.  You’re off to a great start!

    @baileyjosephine:  I personally like the pink/peach/champagne the best! AS pp mentioned lighting is what is going to make the difference in a dark venue!
