Hi Everyone 🙂
So I’m in Week 2 of my 7 weeks to plan the wedding and I haven’t bought my accessories/decorations yet.
I’m kinda stuck between two colors and need some advice! If I go with ivory, champagne-ish gold, and a very light peachy pink will that be too bland?
This baby headband encompasses what I’m talking about (thankfully we already have a baby girl to wear it)
Are these three colors too similar? Will it be hard to find flowers with such a light flush of buttery peach color?
Or should I go with a peachy pink more similar to this (consequently another headband)
Aren’t these darling by the way? I love them so much that if I do end up choosing the first color scheme I’m going to have the shop owner make me one to put in my hair too.
Little background info – beach wedding, low-key woodsy ceremony – going for a beachy, woodsy, vintage-y, very romantic and elegant but casual. I’m wearing a very ethereal informal long ivory floral burnout organza gown probably with gold shoes.
Please let me know which of the two colors you prefer. Thank you in advance for your advice!!!

i dont thin kthat its bland but it is very pale and the colors are very similar.. if thats what u want then go with it, but just remember that very similar colors have less contrast when u take photos, so its easy to blend into the back ground. but i stil love it tho..

i think this is more personal preference… because i’m sure you can find flowers to fit each color scheme. that being said, i like the second idea better. i also think that since you don’t have long to plan, being flexible on your exact colors is a good thing to have 🙂

Thanks Ladies 🙂 I didn’t think about the photo thing! I also want to sprinkle pink sea glass on the tables that is much more similar to the 2nd photo.
You all probably think I’m nuts worrying about colors when I have so much to do! Don’t worry, music, food, wedding venue, reception venue, bridal party, dress, flowers, cake, and invitations are already handled – not bad for a week’s work!

no, not bland at all! 🙂
I love that you’re going for soft, monochromatic colors, which I find to be a great contrast for the beach wedding (big blue sky and deep blue ocean are your contrast) or the woodsy low key wedding (again, you have plenty of contrast with all the greens and browns). This soft palette allows you to tie all the details together easily (and elegantly) and allows your natural setting to take centerstage,
Anyway, I vote for the first combination. But since your second choice is also pretty soft, I don’t think you can go wrong either way. The colors in the second combination are really just one/two shades away from your first combination. Have fun and post some pics for us later!

I think it absolutely looks CLASSY! And also very organic, which seems to be incorporated into the theme 🙂

Yay 2 votes for #2!! I was starting to think it was a no go 🙂
Who knew something as simple as choosing a shade of pink could be such a difficult decision! Loving the input, it gives me a lot to think about.
