My wedding colors are black, white, plum, and sparkly diamond/silver/glittery accents and I think it’s coming along perfect 🙂

The second sounds more elegant… but what about a way to combine then? Maybe ivory, black, plum purple, and antique gold color (instead of the orange)?

@Miss_Sweety_Pie:  i think using the silver as accents is great! my colors are ivory claret and black and we are using touches of silver here and there but not using it as a main color

I think the white, black, and purple is more classy.  The purple should be a deeper,plum-like color though. And maybe instead of silver you could use gold.  Gold would add an extra pop of color and is warmer than silver, a little bit more fall.

Here is a good website that lets you look at wedding ideas by color: The Perfect Palette

I thought this picture was pretty classy it’s black and white but I can see plum added in easily.

I posted a mock up picture of my “candle centerpieces” (I’m doing three different kinds, one being small, one being about 8-10″ tall, third being candles)

tablecloths will be black this is just a picture I did when I got the diamond mesh in a couple months ago..

it shows the colors I am using

However, I have 2 different styles of pictures frames I recently purchased that are silver with diamond accents and a scroll pattern and the other is black with the diamond and scroll work pattern

Hope this give you an idea on the second option you posted

Doing purple and silver with my wedding!!! so I’m biased.. but I think if you’re looking for more elegant go for the more monochromatic color scheme. also I agree with the pp and think you should go for a deep plum or eggplant purple 😀
