My FH and I have been searching for a reception venue for about a month and have found a place that will be in our price range, so we booked it this last weekend. The only “issue” is that the walls are painted in a shade of light blue.
I’m considering adding a pop of turquoise to our palette in order to tie this in.. right now my main color is green, (mostly green apple color) with light to medium pink accents. Basically see my user pic, haha!
I want to add in some turquoise in small touches, i.e. text on signs or ribbon wrap on the bouquets, etc, just to try to tie in the existing venue colors that I have no control over. Some pictures of the shade of turquoise that I like:

I know this would this look great, in small touches, with green apple, but i’m worried about the pink looking out of place in the rather “cool” palette of turquoise and green apple. any opinions? I’m also considering just going with all shades of green/turqoise and minimizing the pink to some flowers here and there.
I’m really far out from my wedding right now (just under 2 yrs), so it’s all theoretical, but it’s fun to play with this kind of stuff. 🙂
