We have decided to go with a forest green colour, with ivory and hints of gold 🙂

We are planning on going with a lavender and grey theme, with accents of dark purple and silver.

I wanted a really romantic traditional wedding, so we went with a deep red, white, and silver theme…a bit of dark green, too, since I was getting my inspiration from roses.

I’m in the inspiration phase at the moment, but we’re planning on a late fall wedding so I was thinking jewel tones with hints of mustard yellow and gold as well. I love lots of color in weddings.

Depends on the time of year. I do love the classic dark red, ivory and gold andig uess black..  Cobalt or royal blue and silver or gold looks very flattering on everyone and a nice all season/year wedding color.  Turquise and a coordinating shades of blue look great ie teal and Tiffany blue or  ???  I usually suggest an accent metal color too – cool tones tend to look great with silver.   I think blush pink is wonderful too or silve depending on the  eyar is classy.

Do you know what “season” you are?  Color me beautiful, or color me pretty are some examples of sites that can help determine what colors look best on you. Obviously you want your color scheme to compliment you!

I’m scientific by nature, and would try one of those sites, then google color palettes that go with X colors. They take the guess work out of determing complimentary colors.

Do you and your Fiance have something that you mutually love? Example, camping, cooking, coffee, ice skating…searching for images of an activity may help give you some inspiration of what and how colors look together.
