I LOVED the color scheme I used for my wedding (above). We wanted everything very nature-esc because we got married up a canyon! But we incorporated a ton of other colors too. I hate when people are too strict with “their colors”.

I do not like funky color combo’s like this one:

But if you are the type of person who loves it, more power to ya…. just not my cup of tea! 🙂

@Robin_Sparkles:  Wow, that’s really similar to my colors–unintentionally, haha.  I’m having blue, yellow, peach, and silver/grey. The guys’ suits will be grey and the girls’ shoes will be silver.

This is our color scheme inspiration photo. Blush pink with ranges of teal and turquoise with cream and burlap for accents!

I personally like softer, more romantic colors — bright and bold wouldn’t have suited us for our wedding but I like them for other people!

I love Peach and Grey (my colours)

My second favourite is this gorgeous Ruby and Sage colour scheme

and like a lot of others I’m really not a fan of the Hot Pink and Black combo

I really like dreamy pastel schemes, and ones with varying shades of purple.

I’m going to jump on the bandwagon here and say that I don’t really like black paired with hot pink. It does look a bit juvenile like one PP said, unless you do it VERY carefully. But I especially dislike red with black. The red almost inevitably looks garish on film, and the dark colors can be very hard to photograph well in general.

And yellow and grey, while beautiful, is IMO beginning to be played out.

Oh boy this has been a hard one for me. I am red/green color blind, so needless to say my perception of color is a bit off from everyone elses (not that I can tell, hehe!). In my day to day wardrobe I usually stick to darker colors likes blacks, navys, browns, or lighter colors like white, silver, or yellow. For my wedding I am thinking Navy Blue, Silver, and a lighter shade of blue, but with black tuxedos and linens. To me these colors look good together – not sure if they actually do though. LOL.

Colors I don’t like? I’m really really not a fan of “pale” colors, the colors that look washed out/faded – but again, who am I to judge colors really?

I love blues.  I’m using navy, but also a lighter blue. I’m ok with using the navy as the blue mainstay, and then welcoming other blues that work with it, so I don’t have to make everything sooooo matchy and perfect.  That bothers me when everything is so perfect it’s just uptight.

There are so many beautiful combinations.  What I don’t like is girly colors.  Isn’t there a groom involved? Why is it ok to make everything pink? Poor guy. I’ll never get the whole “it’s your day, bride” mentality.  How about “it’s OUR day, and I’m not making my man wear a pink anything.”

@Elegant_Oppulence:  Love this look too!

Right now the color scheme is Plum, Lavendar and various shades of Purple and Fuschia

I love blue, purple and silver together. We were thinking about doing blue and yellow but it reminds me of a baby shower.

I’m a jewel tone kinda gal, so I love any jewel or deep tone combo’d with white/black.  (Even the dreaded hot pink!)

I cannot stand pastels.  Just not my personality.  If any of my friends or close family were to see me with a pastel wedding they would be like “WTF, this isn’t her.”

Well naturally I love my wedding colors… charcoal and blush with accents of ivory.

I really hate to say this but I cannot stand to look at another red, black, and white wedding! So un-original!!
