So what if it turns people’s teeth blue, just make sure the pictures are taken BEFORE the cake eating! LOL  Plus it’s so much fun telling others their teeth are blue!

And yes, it will turn teeth blue! I am having a purple cake, oh well!

I had a light blue cake! It loked nice, tasted delicious and I don’t have a single photo of anyone with blue teeth. I know some people did not eat the blue frosting but there’s still filling between the layers so it’s not like you get no frosting if you avoid the color. Darling Husband hates food coloring and he was totally on board for the blue cake too. Find a cake baker who will do it if it is your preference. We saw the blue cake in a local wedding magazine, tracked down the baker who made it and asked her to replicate for us.

If you want a blue cake, then get one. It’s your wedding, no one else’s, so have fun with it. You don’t want to regret down the road that you didn’t do a certain something when it’s too late to change anything at that point.

Blue teeth made me laugh!  I avoided blue foil napkins b/c I was afraid that the shiny blue ink stamp would wear off onto people’s lips and be hard to remove. I think that if you really want a blue cake, then go for it! Food coloring almost always goes away quickly once people are aware and wipe it off/ drink water/ brush their teeth.
