I do!  It’s all over the bee.  You’ll find a lot of girls on here that forgo diamonds all together and get a different gemstone.

Mine is a natural fancy intense yellow diamond.  I was very adamant, as was Fiance, about a natural colored diamond.  Sometimes those colored enhanced stones (even white ones) can crack or have some other sort of defect.

My main stone is a white diamond, but I have black diamonds on the sides (also a peridot and blue topaz, our birthstones, I case you wounded what the others were). You could always to something like that with a white diamond in the middle but colored ones on the band. 🙂

These are my two rhr rings from hubby.  One is chocolate and white diamonds and the other is blue and white diamonds.  The blue ring is pretty neat because you can flip over the part that the blue diamonds are set in and on the other side its all white diamonds, that is kinda what sold me, a 2 in 1 kinda ring.

Ohh I love the Le Vian chocolate diamonds! Darling Husband and I are actually going to look at the second one you posted today for birthday present ideas. I doubt he’ll bite, but we’ll see ;).

If you’re going for a colored diamond for an e-ring, I would check this site out: http://www.fancydiamonds.net/

I know it’s pretty well regarded at PriceScope as a legit online source for FCD (Fancy Colored Diamonds).

Beware, fancy (non color enhanced) diamonds can be out of this world expensive, but they are so stunning!

I’m not sure about your budget, but a more affordable way to incorporate the more expensive FCDs (like pink, green, purple, etc) would be to use a small one as a surprise stone.

Good luck!

@cirk:  Thank you! I tend to just leave the blue showing but both sides are pretty.

Howdy!

Here is my engagement ring…It is a 1.5 ct. rose cut Grey Chameleon Diamond with a rose diamond white halo. It is made in 18k yellow gold and says “ever after” around the outside. I made it myself!

@cardus:  same here, and I didn’t until our honeymoon. WE were in St Kitts, and I saw this gorgeous blue and white diamond necklace and earring set that you can wear 2 ways, and hubs agreed to buy it for me if he could have an equal amount of money to spend on fixing up his car. Deal!! 🙂
