    Everything at your wedding will be dated by the time your kids are looking at your pictures. Get over it and just do whatever makes you happy now ๐Ÿ™‚

    I got some apple green pumps and I LOVE the way they look with my dress on! I didn’t realize it was a trend, but I find it very fun and a great way to have something that’s you.

    Yes! Personally I think most white shoes look tacky, not to mention white satin shoes would probably stay white for like one second before getting ruined on the day.

    My favourite colours for bridal shoes are metallics, blue (something blue) and paler shades like blush pink and dove grey. I think red or garnet would be beautiful too for the right bride.

    I bought metallic Jimmy Choos already but I am seriously enamoured of these Manolos, ever since Carrie wore them!

    I would never have thought of white shoes as traditional. I kinda doubt that in the 1000s, 1500s, 1800s, people were going out of their way to wear white shoes, you know? If it a “tradition,” it is one that developed within the past few decades, you know?

    i do not get people being worried about colored shoes. If you are wearing a long dress, there are two times they will be visible: when the garter is t aken off for the garter toss, and if you take pictures intentionally showing them. If they do end up being an outdated trend, chances are they won’t be in any of the photos you have on your wall anyway.

    I like the blue idea. But blue isn’t in my wedding colors. For my something blue I made some turquoise and pearl earrings. Although it’s not all the way blue it also goes with my native american theme.

    Blue shoes are very cute. I’m wearing pink moccasins though ๐Ÿ™‚ A little color pop under the dress is a great idea.

    I think they’re cute, although not for me – I decided to go with white just for style reasons. I don’t think they’ll go out of style ๐Ÿ™‚

    @ashleyr0512:  thank you!

    They are from an Australian shoe store called Betts, the name of the shoe is called Teaparty. They also had matching clutches and they come in 2 other colours. My bridesmaids are wearing the same shoein a lovely nude apricot colour
