This is mine. A regular diamond with blue diamonds on either side and 3 channel sets on each side of those. My FI chose the blue because it’s my favorite color. I absolutely in love with my ring! (and my FH. lol)

It’s yellow-gold as well, which I normally don’t like, but there’s so much bling in the front that you can barely see the yellow at all!

@Ambrocked: Doh! That’s because I’m an idiot – it’s not an amethyst, it’s a blue topaz! I don’t know what I was thinking – must’ve been admiring another bee’s amethyst.

@southerntransplant:  That’s funny!  I was debating if maybe it was something with the photo or lighting that made it look so blue, or possibly the scarf… I know Tanzanite can be blue or purple, but I didn’t think amethyst could, but you never know!  Heehee!  =D  Either way, it’s gorgeous!

I picked the setting and I requested a light sapphire.  My sweetie picked out the stone and he did a great job!!  Bezel setting with diamonds on the side surrounding.  I love my ring!!

@snwbordett: so sorry for the late reply. been MIA from the bee lately and decided to randomly browse through this thread to oogle at the beautiful rings when i saw your comment! i think it just over 2 carats and its a size 5.5 currently. I think that’s around 7.5 mm??
