I have been toying around with that idea, but we’re also having big white tents so, in my opinion, that’s too much white..it:s not completely ruled out, though. And I do love those chairs…any idea where they might be available? Although I doubt my fiance will agree to splurge on pretty white chairs. We are getting the ugly metal chairs for free along with the tables and tents, which is keeping us in the ballpark of $5,000. I know that’s not much, but besides what we’re getting free we have to pay for every dime ourselves so we can’t exactly afford to use gorgeous chairs and expensive tablecloths.

To have both somewhat attractive white folding chairs and full length table cloths it’ll be around $400. Yikes.

I understand. In your initial post, I didn’t realize there was such a tight budget so I was trying to help you achieve the prettiest tablescape possible. I had a garden wedding a month ago so I know ALL about the ridiculous prices of rentals. *shudder* It took me quite a few months to get over sticker shock of weddings before I was comfortable signing contracts & forking thousands over to vendors!

The metal chairs are difficult to hide but it may be worth renting the white chairs. Our budget is also $5K and we preferred the look of the white chairs (they only cost $2 each to rent but we are only expecting 50 guests.) As for the table leg issue, a decent photographer won’t show table legs in photos and guests really won’t notice or care if they’re showing.
If the question about creases was directed to me, I plan to lay them out a few days before the wedding for the creases to fall out. If they don’t fall out I will cover the cloth with a towel and iron them out the night before the wedding.
