Your diamond is beautiful! I much prefer near colorless diamonds to colorless.

I agree that the diamond is way more beautiful! The CZ looks cloudy or milky, and less bright despite the colour.

I’ve seen I coloured stones in huge (well, about 3.6 ct, which is bigger than most I see) sizes, and they have always looked white to me. I am very colour sensitive, too, but without a point of reference (like a whiter stone) right next to it, most people can never tell what colour a stone in the “nearly colourless” range is.

echomomm:  I agree on color.  My mother has a 3.3 ct diamond that sparkles like crazy and looks nearly colorless on her finger, and it’s a K.

Great comparison photo! I have an H colored solitaire and I think it looks white, too. Near colorless was the perfect choice for me. Your ering is very beautiful, btw!!
