I have had this same dilemma and thought. I brought a colourless E coloured moissy and it was VERY white. Too white. I’m now going to buy a G coloured ring, so that it’s still white but isn’t chalk white and “blue”.

Redearthlady has an amazing moissy that I believe is H colour and she said that it’s white 100% of the time but it’s not so stark white. I hope she sees this so she can comment herself. Search her threads and have a look!

If you go for H&A F1 near colourless I don’t think you will be disappointed. That’s what I am about to order – just trying to decide which setting!!

Update on what you decide!!!

alessia :  if you’re worried about a warm stone then get a certified G or even H color. Most places will also send you a photo of the stone before you purchase.

Here’s my Forever One from C&C (colorless). It actually doesn’t look colorless because I have it in a yellow gold setting, which warms up the stone. If in direct sunlight (or Home Depot lol), it looks pretty white though.

Here’s a comparison between the moissy vs my diamond e-ring:

I have a colourless stone, and I don’t think it’s too steel blue-ish at all, even set in platinum. If anything, the moissanite just looks a clean white and sparkles in all colours.  Granted, I like silver coloured metals and only went with the colourless upgrade because I was worried about the yellow comments some made on their near-colourless stones. It matches perfectly with the diamond side accents (which I’m sure aren’t ‘colourless’ themselves). Here’s a picture of it in fairly harsh indoor lighting:

Hey Bees 🐝

I’m having exactly the same dilemma!! I’d be really interested to know what the OP went for, and why? With pictures too, of course 😊

I own the near colorless in two different shapes and I definitely recommend them. They don’ have the icy white cold look that I tend not to prefer. My sweet spot for color in diamonds is g-i in color which is not very heavily tinted but has warmth. To me the near colorless is the way to go.
