ok my colors for my wedding are blue(royal blue) and red (clariet). now im wondering how to put colors for dresses and that. my dress is lace with a small blue sash around the empire waist. the orginal plan was to do the girls all in red with short dresses and cowboy boots. and the men in black tuxs, blue vests and tie. and have the grom in black tux, red vest and tie. but now im not sure if i wana have the girls match me. or have every other girl be in a color (ex. blue, red, blue, red) and also should we have the maid of honor and best man stand out or leave them the same as everyone else?

@Country_Girl29: What about girls in blue dresses that match your sash and carry red flowers? Blue flowers are hard to come by and if they are in red, what color flowers would you choose? I think alternating dress colors would look too busy. You could still do cowboy boots (cute idea!) I like the idea of having the groom in red since he would stand out that way, but if you have blue accents do you think that would coordinate? You could do a red bouttinere for him with blue vest and tie. He’d still stand apart from the other guys I think.

Pretty Colors! They’re my FI’s favorite and he would have LOVED for me to use them for our wedding!
That said lol, I think blue dresses would be beautiful with the red flowers. IMO ,if you do mismatched Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, it would look better if they weren’t contrasting colors. If you want your Maid/Matron of Honor to stand out, maybe give her different flowers, a sash, a statement necklace etc and best man a different color vest, bout flower or tie. Though it isnt really necessary to make them stand out, everyone will know who they are if they are standing next to you.
My ladies have mismatched short chiffon dresses in the same shade and my Maid/Matron of Honor is in the same shade but a long dress.
