- Wedding: July 2010
I am thinking of using these three colors for our July 2nd, 2010 wedding. Any opinions or pictures from weddings with similar weddings?

They sound really pretty! Plus they remind me of peacock colors which are pretty and then you can possibly incorporate peacock flowers into centerpeices, etc.
I LOVE teal. It’s probably one of my favorite colors. I considered having teal, ivory and brown as our colors when we first started planning. And then my cousin, who’s a graphic designer/artist said to not use such a dark color like brown with teal because it drowns the colors. I went to a fabric store and put the two colors together, and lo and behold, she was totally right.
Orange is a color that accents teal perfectly. Would you consider that? I’m attaching an inspiration board for you. For a summery wedding, it would be amazing. If you’re not feeling that color combo, sage green and brown are also lovely!
Hope this helps!

@sminerva21 – great suggetion! My colors happen to be blue and orange so I couldn’t agree more. Only we are a fall wedding so we are sticking to a darker blue and burnt orange.
Thanks, bridebella! We actually switched our colors to plum and spice orange because we’re having a fall wedding, too! The good thing about any blue and orange shade is that it can be enhanced to fit any tone or season you want (i.e. vibrant for summer and subtle/more rich for fall).
Those will be an awesome color blend and it does remind me of the peacock theme which can be fabulous… Here is something on the net that has some of your colors…
Oh well, here’s the link:
