Hey! I’m trying to get some ideas of colors for our september 2016 wedding!
I’ve been trying to decide between colors… Things for decor and dresses… etc.
Is it okay to have charcoal and blush for a fall wedding? The ceremony may be outside (depending on the weather) and would the colors clash with the fall colors outside?

Yes yes yes charcoal and blush will look amazing, perfect!

When I picked our wedding colors, I didn’t even think about if they worked with the season. I just picked colors I liked so I think if those are the colors you like then go for it!

I think those colors are perfect! i didn’t want the typical fall colors for my wedding, we went with navy, lime green and silver!

You can use any color palette you like. All colors go together in nature.

Charcoal and blush would look amazing – especially in the fall!
I’m also a September 2016 wedding and we’re going with a dark navy (FIs favorite color) and a deep purple lapis (my favorite color) with grey/silver to offset all the darkness 🙂

I’m having a fall wedding (Oct. 8, 2016) and I’m doing blush too. But I’m also throwing in a deep red/wine color to draw in the fallish colors. Just because blush is a light color doesn’t mean it has to be summer/spring! It will look beautiful in fall!

I don’t think colors have a definite season. I’d be more concerned about them fitting in with the decor of your venue or outdoor setting because some colors definitely clash with one another or just don’t match the setting. I love charcoal and was intending to use it, but I then I found my venue. It is very art-deco with dark mahogany walls, and the charcoal just wouldn’t work. Blush would be lovely with charcoal!
