as you know..there is a very fine line between cartoon and childish and romantic and classic.
my fiance loves the color red and red roses and i love red roses too….so even though pink or dusty rose often comes to mind with sleeping beauty..i do want to stick to a red color..and maybe green too to add more of an “enchanted forest” kind of feeling…
i know blue and pink are significant colors to this…but i feel the red rose and green forest and vines are a better fit…but as much as i love them…i dont want the rose and forest idea to become too generalized and strays from the theme.
ANYWAYS…would you suggest that i keep the red rose and forest(green) colors
or would it be better to simply keep to the pink and blue or red and blue?
having such a hard time deciding!
also..trying to find an “accent color” to go with it..and my first idea was more of a silver so it adds that “magical” or “enchanted” kind of feeling..but…does that go with it?is gold better?
(i know i want to put rose centerpieces with glitter to accent around it(mixed with rose petals)
obviously im very conflicted..help please?:)

@auburn2heart: I love sleeping beauty!
I think Red/Blush/Silver could work with lots of touches of forest green. I love the idea of vines, etc.
I probably wouldn’t go with red and blue.

@Evie19: i just looked up color swatches for each of those on google and it looks lovely! the blush and red together screams more sleeping beauty and the silver keeps the enchanted/magical feeling and the vines keep the forest theme:) thanks!!!!

Im so glad you like the combo! I absolutely love the Disney Sleeping Beauty movie. 🙂 I think those colors sound lovely together and I can just imagine the vine-like greenery which will be a perfect look for springtime!

I made an inspiration board just for you 🙂 I LOVE your theme!
I think a deep scarlet red, blush pink, and gold (was thinking of Aurora’s crown from disney’s sleeping beauty) would be gorgeous. Best wishes on whatever you choose! Your wedding theme is SO charming. It will be even more “sleeping-beauty-like” when your husband-to-be kisses you at the end of your vows! 😉
