So with less than 5 months to go im rethinking my “colors.” I dont really have a theme and i need to get my bridesmaids dresses asap. So here is a little detail about the venue its a big room with wooden floor, light pink walls and includes all black chiavari chairs.
Originally i wanted the infamous burlap and lace so i bought 40 yards of burlap and 50 of lace, before I even reserved the venue, and im planning on doing a tall clear vase with a pomander on top. Now since the venue has black accents im thinking its going to be too many colors all mixed around!!
Just the other day I picked white plates with silver lining on them so I think that i made a mistake in the burlap and lace. So NOW im thinking i should do silver table linens, with the black chairs, and white and black accents. I just dont want too much black since the venues ceiling is already a bit low i dont want to make it seem any smaller. Oh yes and add glitter to many of the things because I just love glitter and i feel like with the burlap and lace I cant really make it ME. I really like the rustic look but it might just not be me. Im just so confuesd and undecisive any advice or ideas??
Here are my two inspiration pictures, my centerpieces will be tall clear vases with white flower pomanders.
I plan to add lace in the middle of the burlap.
The table linen would be white and the runner would be probably a shimmery/glittery silver.
Thanks in advance bees!!

I LOVE the hessian and twine and lace look – but I’m not sure that it will work well with the description of your venue ! And the look may come out half half which may not be effective
Im also concerned that you say that whilst while you like it, you’re not convinced that its really you. Your wedding should 100% represent you!!
I vote that you try to sell the fabric online, to minimise your loss, and add some sparkles!!

Giswhatibee: I like both looks. But I think you’d regret the burlap and lace, well I think you’re already regretting it so I voted the sparkle and as you say sparkle’s fun! Good luck with it all.

Just go with what you really love!
My opinion is burlap as been done a lot lately and is a very trendy-trend that is going to go out soon. But bottom line, do what you love!

Thank you ladies for your response. I do love the burlap/lace look maybe cause i see it so much revently. But I think ima go with blush and silver with touches of black in order to not clash with the venues pink walls and black chairs.
I have never liked pink and i didnt want to use it but I can deal with a blush or very light pink as long as I have lots of glitter (well without over doing it) I wont notice the pink!!
Thank you so much. Here is my new inspiration picture.
