I’ve gone through about five or six themes/color schemes in the past two months since I got engaged, each time thinking that the one I was on was The One. I went from one using my favorite colors (lavender and brown) to a couple of fall color palette ones (with leaves and pumpkins) to burgundy and brown (with apples and to match the church)…
In looking at all the fall themes, I saw a few using wheat and kind of fell in love with the idea. I’d also been looking for ways to use color that would work in the church’s sanctuary (which has burgundy carpet and pew cushions) and in the fellowship hall as well (which has sort of cornflower blue chairs – they didn’t plan to coordinate their stuff too much!).
Now I’m thinking that if I don’t try to get matchy-matchy with it, I can range my colors from dusty pinks and purples to muted blues, which could fit in both areas of the church, and they would work well with rustic decor. But! Now I’m wondering if the colors aren’t “fall-ish” enough (if it really matters…). Here’s my inspiration board I made — does it say fall to you, and do the colors go together as much as I think they do?
Lol… I’m overthinking this waaaaaaaay too much 😛
