    Sometimes that can be a bit too match matchy. Many groomsmen are wearing plaid, paisley or other print ties that incorporate either the dress color or something that coordinates with it.

    I prefer them to be a different shade, otherwise it looks like prom to me.

    @nycbrde2011:  I think you should go with a patterned tie that incorporates the rose…solid pink/rose, to me will be way too matchy.  Even a different shade.  I’d explore some other patterns, a plaid or paisley would be really nice!

    I say it depends if you are more tradational or non. I like them better when they dont match as nontraditional.

    My FI picked out a thick stripped tie with Navy blue and white. WHile the rest will be wearing solid navy blue.

    Also, my bm are all wearing a dark pink dress and it has a think navy blue belt.
