Ok. Having a slight panick attack. I really REALLY didn’t want to wear anything in the realm of white or ivory for my dress. It’s just always been me to be different. The problem is, now I think I’m stuck doing just that.
Our groomsmen are wearing a natural linen colour pant and white shirts.
my fiance is wearing a linen vest and matching patns to his groomsmen, white shirt
my bridesmaids are wearing an ochra yellow and pistachio green floral I was thinking of wearing yellow solid, but now I’m thinking it will be too much….so then I was toying with the idea of ivory, but will that clash with the white shirts of the groomsmen? I can’t wear white, I refuse to wear white. Freaking out.

Don’t freak out!
Wear yellow or ivory or whatever color you want 🙂 I wouldn’t worry at ALL about your dress clashing with the guy’s shirts. Unless you take an abnormally high number of photos with just them, you aren’t really going to notice it.
Relax and Good luck!

You really should pick you dress color first before choosing everyone elses.
You dont have to match the groomsmen, but if you want to wear ivory I think the groom should wear an ivory shirt too. But the truth is no one will notice

they should really be dressing to match you, not the other way around……..

well, I understand they should dress to match me, but we needed to get a move on this and I can’t decide what colour to wear. I really REALLY don’t want to wear white or ivory. I wanted to wear a colour…so there wasn’t going to be this problem, but now I cant’ find any fabric in the colours I want and I’m kind of “stuck” having to consider buying ivory. It’s not a formal wedding. It’s on the beach in Cuba, and I’m not really the kind of bride to dictate all that stuff. I just want my dress to look untraditional and I’m having a hard time acheiving that.

I wanted Ivory but the dress I fell in love with only came in white or dimond white, I went with dimond white (even tho i cant really tell the difference) Point is you dont want to base your dress on color, go find a dress you love and get it in the color that looks best on you, everythign will work out fine!

Ok. So here are my colour options, and the dress on the bottom left is the style I have chosen to make. the dress on the blond girl is what the bridesmaids are wearing and the outfit on the guy is the what my fiance and groomsmen are wearing. which colour do you like best with the ivory being last resort!!

I’m wearing a light pink -blush color- so you can pretty much go with a light champagne color… anything in a pastel color- i think.

I wore a light blue dress with ivory lace over it. Sounds like you have spring colors going on – maybe add some pink and blue around too? Then you could make your dress whatever color you want.
