Here’s my topaz engagement ring. The bottom band is my wedding band and has matching stones (they are the same colour in real life but the blue doesn’t show up so well in photos). My husband gave me the top band for our last anniversary (diamond and rubies. Our daughter was born July last year).

I tried on a lot of diamond bands for my wedding band but none of them were really doing it for me for the reason you started- I felt like it was distracting from my engagement ring. Then I saw my wedding band at my most favourite jewellers and it was on sale, perfect!

@thecoffeefiend:  Thank you very much.

My husband and I designed them ourself. We started with a standard design and completely modified it to our own wishes.

They are made from palladium.

These are all so beautiful! My SO and I were just talking last night about when we are finished having kids, I would love instead of an anniversary band to have a band with alternating birthstones of our children. Seeing these pics gives me serious inspo!!

@thecoffeefiend:  I have a similar ring with a yellow gold band.  What I would do is have a band made in rose gold with diamond’s. I don’t remember ever seeing peach sapphire’s in an eternity band before. I am going to assume because the color does not show up the same as in larger stones.  I am sure they would be very light. I love engraved bands and I could see the rose gold one in the 2nd pic working with your ring.  I also think the Lacie band that people did from Starsgem or Provence was also pretty and I added the pic/CAD’s and also the tiara style band would work too. You an flip through the album. There are so many options.

ETA – I found something like this but it is very thin and in person, it would probably be hard to see the stones were peach. I am sure they are probably lighter then the pic  It could be a nice stacking band. You could add a skinny peach sapphire and then maybe a rose gold milgrain band that is 2 mm or something with engraving.

@thecoffeefiend:  if you type Lacie and Starsgem in the search, you can find some threads. Some people did it domed and other’s did a flat band. The flat one would go so well with your ring.
