Im having a problem with the colour scheme of my wedding and reallly need to sort it so i can buy dresses, flowers, deco ect. so my dress is ivory but has pale pink, gray, and ivory flowers exploded at the bottom…here it is
so my decor is 1920’s/30’s art deco ish classy with black feathers&ivory pearls. so what colour should the bridesmaids be? i liked black but i dont want them matching the men (theres 5 ushers and all in black tux’s). theres 3 adult bridesmaids and 2 children (i thought of putting the adults in pink and little ones in ivory but i dont really want them the same as me) and does my bouquette have to match my dress (that way it would be shell colours -light pinks) or does it have to match the decor and the other bridesmaids?please help me :-S

It depends on what colors you like!
If I were doing a 1920s vintage wedding, I would probably choose either blush or mauve with gold accents, to go with your black tuxes. You could put the women in mauve and the girls in blush and have them wear gold accessories.
Here’s some inspiration:

Ya I was just thinking blush as well.. or a colour with a tone that will pick up the tones in your dress… that deep plum is gorgeous too and would really pick up the taupe and blush tones in your dress! Def pinks, purples would be lovely!
GORGEOUS dress btw!!!

Your dress is so pretty! I’ve never seen anything like it! I’d go with blush too. It always looks so pretty.

@Misscandice8907: Yes!! Beautiful dress!!
If you’re getting married in April, then you are a lucky girl – there are tons of pink flowers that will be in season then (including the much-coveted peonies!).
Here are some flower ideas from my Pinterest board 🙂

Thank You so much girls, i love the blush and definitley going to have 2 of my bridesmaids in that colour, not sure about the purple but that bouquet is beautiful and the colours really do look stunnin together. thank you for the compliments on the dress, i was very lucky to find this second hand otherwise i never could have afforded it. so do you think i need to put some blush colour into my decor now?its in a marquee so i plan to have black feather center pieces with ivory pearls dangled over them, and black lace tie backs around the ivory chairs. i dont really no what else to decorate it with tho.any ideas?
