Ours would be Austoria…or Victin.

I think it’s a cool concept, but in most cases it just doesn’t work out. As for Jada and Will Smith, I think their choices of Willow and Jaden are super cool.

Alley and Ryan

Alan- prob not  Although I would defiantly consider Ryley. I like the spelling too and had never thought about it until I saw this post!

We’re Jewish, so we can’t name our kid after anybody living. I know a girl who named her kid her maiden name (Clark). That was kind of weird to me, apparently she was attached to it!

Brody sounds too much like grody for my tastes. I’m not a fan of the name smush thing. Luckily it doesn’t work for my fiance and I…who would ever name their children Ashphen (lol), or heaven forbid, Stephalynn? *gag*

We’ve thought about combining both our mother’s name for a future daughter’s middle name, but I think middle names are different. Middle names can be weird lol.

@Rgeddy: Rony! ha Spell it Roni and you got a Bobby Brown hit! Now I’m stuck on that song. lol

@martysgal: Oh my gosh, poor Kadunce!! Who would put the work DUNCE in their child’s name? That is just horrid. Or maybe kids today don’t even know that word, but still it looks awful!

I think in some circumstances this could work, like with Brody. Although I’m not a fan of the name Brody, it’s not a weird or crazy name to have. We are Lori and Shane so we could do Lane or Shori? haha  my middle name is Delane so even then it would seem like we took it from that. Not crazy, but nms as a name. I really like some of y’all’s mash ups. These are good. My family would probably say that Crabby suits me. I think that was my nickname for about 2 years lol It helps that I am a Cancer too.

It’s a cool concept, but no…I think I remember a gymnast who was named Jaycee since her parent’s initials were J and C.  So that works, but I’m still laughing over “Crabby” lol  I can’t even begin to think of how to combine our names, um– Michstopher.  No chance in hell.
