After takingthe Bee’s advice on what to wear to a grad school interview, I’m now in desperate need of some comfortable low-heeled shoes. I’ll be traipsing around Baltimore so I need them to be sturdy too! Any heel or boot ideas? FL weather is already turning to pool-ready so I’m having a hard time finding anything around here for a chilly place!

I would try department stores… Macy’s, Nordstrom, etc. They always seem to order cold weather items no matter what region you live in.

Believe it or not, Naturalizer and Aerosoles make some very stylish shoes and they’re comfortable. I live in those. So are Bear Traps. You can get them all cheaper on Zappos or Amazon and they have a good return policy so, unless there is a major sale, that’s where I get all my shoes. I like to wear Nine West, but those take a while to get comfortable. Those are my current boots and I love them.

I like Dansko or Footprints.

Seriously…I bought this pair of patent nude closed toe heels from TARGET. They were $30. I’ve since gone back and bought them in patent black, regular black and this bone/grey’ish color. They are SOOO comfy! And really cute 🙂

I got these recently and have been loving them. http://www.dsw.com/shoe/naturalizer+albanie+wedge?prodId=206439&brand=300247&isBrand=y&categoryName=Women's%20Shoes
They did need to break in a tiny bit, but since then they’ve been comfy and stylish!
Bare Traps have treated me well too!

THank y’all for all the suggestions! When I’m at my work computer (instead of my iphone) I’ll have quite a bit of Internet shopping to do :))

@MissTX: my favorite pair of heels is from Target – they are so comfortable, I’d wear em every day if they weren’t brown croc print 🙂 Will have to drop by to look for black pumps again, I didn’t even remember til now where I got those!
