Whatever shoes that you decide to buy, just make sure you wear them for a few days before you travel because sometimes new shoes need to be broken in. I personally like running shoes, they are very comfortable for walking. I recently purchased these rocket dog shoes for a trip that I took. I am pregnant so I wanted something super comfortable and these were awesome.

I am also going on a 12 day Mediterranean cruise in Sept on Princess for our honeymoon! I will be buying birkenstocks , they have some great styles now. I would buy them now so you have time to break them in, as they form to your foot. My daughters, stylish 18&14 swear by them for comfort. I would love to hear about your cruise experience, this will be our first one. I am so excited!

I have a lot of foot issues, so I can only wear really comfy shoes. I go to Aerosoles, Skechers, and Earth Shoes. Pretty much anything that has a thick sole and extra cushion. I have had my Skechers for something like 5 years, and they are awesome!

Sperry top siders are always pretty comfy.

Please don’t wear sneakers to Europe though. You’ll stick out like a sore thumb.

Clarks makes some comfy shoes, but it can be hard to find cute ones.

I also like Sketchers, and Keen/Tevas are good for traveling.

Living in NYC, I walk a LOT. The most comfortable shoes I have for long walks (other than sneakers of course) are Toms. I was surprised at how comfortable they were without having to be broken in (unlike all of my leather shoes). They have a lot of styles with nicer fabrics that make them look a little more stylish. I’d highly recommend them!

@bluebird615:  Yes My fiancé is keeping track of that, our price has been lowered twice so far. Thank you for the tip though.
