Hi Bees! I was originally going to wear Converse with my dress because I planned on getting a short dress. Now I have a floor length lace gown and think I might want to rethink that choice. My wedding is at the courthouse downtown, so we’ll be walking around a bit, and then we’re going to a restaurant. I’m thinking either ballet flats for a 2 inch top thick heel or wedge.
What kind of shoes did you wear? What did your dress look like? And most importantly, were they comfortable?!

I wore Melissa Vivienne Westood shoes, I wore the ones with a little heel, but they have the same shoe in flats!
I also tried on the melissa shoes with swarovskys, but at the end I likes the fun, romantic touch of the heart! This is my favorite show brand because of how different and fun they are!

I’m wearing ballet flats, they are silver with bling. I wear them 30 minutes a day to break them in.

queenbatgirl : i wore a pair of Badgley Mischka wedges for hours before the ceremony (all our photos), and through the first dances. it made it several hours before i realized my feet hurt (during the ceremony). was glad to have them off come reception time, when i changed into a pair of tieks. LOVE those things!

catskillsinjune : I’m seriously considering getting a pair of Tieks because they seem so amazing! I’m really tempted by their metallic rose goldy ones!

queenbatgirl : ditto about the idea of buying tieks for the wedding, either rose gold or red. I met someone on a cruise wearing some and she swore they were crazy comfy.

I’m going to wear some creamy-white lace wedges. They’re so comfy and pretty.

queenbatgirl : I bought tieks a few years ago after hearing people raving about them. I personally do not think they live up to their hype. They are supposed to be great quality leather but the leather over my toes started scratching off only after a few wears. Plus my Dr. Scholls flats are more comfortable!
