I never seem to catch it on anything, even the point of the pear. Really love the look of a bezel, and the security it provides for the stone is a bonus.

here’s my vintage engagement ring from the 40’s. Super low profile and comfortable!
Mine is not bezel set, but extremely comfortable and practical. I am in Nursing School so I wanted something that I can wear 24/7. If I find that my prongs are ripping gloves, I will either wear my band by itself and or put my diamond into a bezel. The lighting was a little yellowy in this pic and my fingers were swollen UGH. I need to get both of my rings re-sized to fit together better.
Its not a bezel but it’s low profile. I think a lot of vintage rings are smooth and set low because they used to wear gloves regularly. So comfortable.
I had the hardest time before getting married with deciding between an eternity wedding band or plain one. Ultimately went with the plain and I love it so much! Never have to worry about or really take off my set and it’s so comfortable to have on.
