If they’re comfortable, wear them!

Hmmmm, are you incorporating brown in your theme?  You have a fall wedding in Chitown, so I’m thinking you are doing fall colors?  Regardless, I honestly think people can really wear any shoe style, color, ect that their heart desires.

I think brown looks great with ivory but put them on with your dress and try it out. only you can really judge for yourself and you have to be comfortable with the decision.

It’s hard to see in the lighting but I say go for it! If you are looking for an alternate, I chose Stellina from 6pm.com (Zappos discount site) Mine are royal blue, but they have them in a beautiful brown also:

The gems are way sparkley and they are INCREDIBLY comfortable, and on sale! I love the subtle wedge, makes them WAY more comfortable and slightly more formal than flat (without dealing with a kitten heel!)

Here is the link to them if you are interested!

Edited to add: I wear a 12 and they have these in an 11!

I know exactly where you got those shoes.. If you’re really unsure about the color. you could always jazz them up some..there are DIY projects on here where ppl have taken mod podge and glitter and glittered their shoes.. they look pretty amazing.. Or they glue crystals. However, I feel like they’ll be fine ๐Ÿ™‚

I love those! I’m actually looking for something very similar. Also, I think since your dress is Ivory and not stark white, the shoes would be a perfect match to it. I agree with PP though, if you’re wanting more bling or an extra POP, you could always DIY with crystals etc.
