Holy cow, my cousin just sent me a photo she took of me in my sample dress. All I had before were ones my mom sent me with major shine issues. The difference is astounding! Definately kicked my dress regret in the pants!! What do you think?

wow it looks like two different dresses!

It does look really different, and definitely not as shiny! What material is your dress?

Crazy… the first one looks white and the second looks ivory!

I would not have guessed that those are the same dress. Amazing!

It’s silk taffeta in diamond white.

That’s crazy! It looks like two different dresses!

WOW! That’s insane the difference! Beautiful on you.

Crazy! I have seen this happen to dresses I’ve tried on too. Especially the satin dresses. With flash, they are shiny. Without flash, they look more matte (and for some reason, lighter?).

holy patootie! that is amazing!!! the nonflash ones look so soft and awesome; and that’ll be how your pro pics will look, too! yay! 😀

When I first got home and saw the shine picture, I actually felt my heart drop in my chest. I was so stresed out about making the wrong choice, and looking horrible on my wedding day.
Knowing that the dress will look & photograph like the 2nd photo in natural light makes me feel 1000X better about my purchase.

Heh, tafetta always does that. It freaked me out too when I got mine. I’m fine w/ guest pics being shiny as long as the pro ones look good!

They do look completely different! I’m glad your dress regret has been cured, it is a very flattering gown.

The style of these two dresses is the same. But the reason they look so different is that they use different fabric. The left one is tefate, the right maybe silk chiffon. Tefate looks more shine.

It is only one dress. The photos look different because they were taken with 2 different cameras. One with flash and one without.
