Hi! Charleston bee here with a 10k budget – my total head count is 32 but I also splurged on a few things important to me. I am having my ceremony at The Confederate Home – I know you listed this venue, they do not allow dancing…at all. So I am just having the ceremony here. My reception is at McCradys. This was a huge saving for me since it is a beautiful restaurant I did not have to rent a thing except for table runners, bows and colored napkins! Good luck!

@SassyGirafe: Thanks for the congrats! Love your name on here as well. 🙂
Here is a little info about our stationary!
*Invites/RSVPs: We are using Vistaprint. They are simple invites, but I ordered some free samples and the quality is actually very good! They also sent us a coupon with the kit so we’re able to save money there. Also, I signed up for emails and they send coupons all the time and run sales all the time. Groupon also has great Vistaprint deals, so I’ve been watching there as well. With the coupons we have though, we are able to get 150 invites, 150 (plain–they have decorative for extra money, plain is free) envelopes, 150 RSVPs, and 150 RSVP envelopes (again plain) for about $185. Then postage should be about $130 for those since they should be able to be mailed with normal stamps. So that puts the total a little over $300.
*Thank-You Cards: Michaels has a bulk set of plain multi-colored cards for $20! It comes with 200 cards and envelopes! I have a paper cutter and scrapbook paper already and have come up with a simple monogram design to put on all of them. I also bought a $5 “Thank You” stamp to use on the front. I think they’ll turn out well. The cheapest I could find premade thank yous was $10 for 50, so we’re saving about $15 here, but it adds up.
*Programs: We’re doing accordion fold programs with regular paper in the middle (which I already have), so all I needed to buy was the cardstock for the front and back. 1 sheet of cardstock will make two programs. I bought 125 sheets of cardstock in various colors related to our wedding. Hobby Lobby was having a 50% off paper sale (which they run quite frequently) so I got each sheet of cardstock for 25 cents! That means I spent just over $30 on cardstock. I also bought a couple of stamps (also on sale at Hobby Lobby–that place has been a savior!) to decorate the covers.
Sorry for the loooooong explanations. Unfortunately, I don’t have pictures of any projects yet, but I can share the end result with you as I get there!
