You can get prescription camoflage makeup for covering scars and so on which is pretty effective – not sure you’d be able to get a prescription from a doctor for covering a tattoo, but it might be worth looking into their products and seeing if you can get hold of them another way?

The clinic I was referred to was Changing Faces: http://www.changingfaces.org.uk/Home

It might say on the website somewhere what they use, and you could see if you could get it elsewhere?

Have you tried the Kat VonD concealer from sephora? She did a photoshoot where they covered all of her tattoos with it. I’ve never tried it myself so I don’t know how well it would work, but it’s worth a try…

@plpinkinsa2001:  i’m calling fake. Look at that face! It’s completely different!

ETA: just noticed the makeup/no makeup. So, I dunno, although I still find it suspicious.

I’ve had very good luck using Dinair’s airbursh, peramedical foundation with their concealer, if you can find an artist in your area, you might want to see if it works before you make a decision.

@plpinkinsa2001:  +1

I have some of Kat Von D’s products (concealer, liner and shadows) and they are amazing and well made.  She has some really cool full-coverage foundation too.

Ive read her stuff isnt that great at coverage. Im hoping to find something good as well. I am in the process of removing a tattoo with laser but I dont think it will be done come wedding. (Yea it takes THAT long, ugh)

@Dawn1234:  all places seem to advertise a few sessions but I have had 5 so far and the lightening is minimal I estimate another 5 at least! It also is very painful and costly. But the treatments are spaced out over 6 weeks.

Ive also skipped a few months which doesnt affect it at all If I dont feel like paying the $ that month. Im spending $300 a session Yell

My cousin is looking into getting the kat von d concealing for my wedding to cover a tatto on her forearm, and it worked really well! The only down side is once it dries it is a little difficult to remove, lol so good luck there, but if you go to a sephora’s they would do a makeup trial with you and then you would be able to see it in action for yourself!

I would sooner suggest Dermablend rather than Kat Von D’s concealer, I like her eyeshadows but I don’t think the concealer is cut out for such a job.
