Very nice πŸ™‚

I think that it is a little long; however, if you take out some of the pages, you might lose some of the story, so if it were me, I would leave all of the pages.

I just finished making our guest book on AdoraPix and I can hardly wait to get it. You can see it here.

@Lisa1783: You are very welcome, and thank you.

Your dad might not take to much notice of your getting ready pictures, but I am sure your mom would πŸ™‚

Awww, I love it! What a beautiful book you put together πŸ™‚ I think if you’re gifting these to parents and grandparents, you could leave out some of the photos that they might not care as much about (not putting in so many of you guys with your bridal party, leaving out so me of the less appropriate dancing photos, etc.). We made AdoramaPix books for our parents, too, so here’s a link in case you want to see it! We tried to keep them pretty concise and pick the best photos rather than show 4 variations of the same photo that might not be as interesting for others to see as it is for the bride πŸ˜‰

I’m just working on an Adoramapix album for us now.  I did smaller albums on Shutterfly and Picaboo for our parents and even smaller ones for our grandparerents, but wanted something with more pictures, and a little higher quality for ourselves.

I think our grandparent books were about 20 pages, and parents were about 40.  Ours is the full size 12×12 76 pager.

I don’t believe there’s a discount for multiples with adoramapix until you order a LOT of copies, so if you have some time on your hands, you could make smaller ones for the others as well?

@Lisa1783: Very nice! I don’t think it’s too long…I don’t think there is such a thing as too long with wedding albums πŸ™‚ What design did you use?

  • I would on the cover make your name in the lower right hand corner in the “white space”
  • if you want to make it shorter, you have a lot of very similar images where the differences are very minor, yet fill an entire spread when you could be “moving the story along” in a sense. But again, that’s if you want to make it shorter…
  • is their a reason who I am assuming are his mom and sister get full dedicated pages and your family is crunched together on one spread?
  • Do you have any kind of image you’d like to use as a final? Perhaps the two of you walking away or a kiss or something that ends on the two of you? As it is now, it feels like there is more to the story.

@Lisa1783: I agree with the slanted text. I think it looks a little “Hey! I figured this software out, look what I can do!” instead of clean and professional. I also think it would look cleaner if you removed the black boxes around the photos, but that’s a personal preferance.

Make sure this is 100% the company you want to go with, as well. I ordered my honeymoon album through AdoramaPix, and while I usually love Adorama, they put the wrong cover on mine (some other person’s engagement album cover). When they (finally) redid it, the copy we got had glops of glue on about half the pages. We decided to get a book through Photobook America instead. We just received it this week – we went for their “Pro” series with the super heavy paper and silk cover, and it is GORGEOUS. Looks much more professional and expensive than the Adorama albums.

Just my $0.02 πŸ™‚ good luck!! Your wedding was beautiful!

@meliss:I like the way your photographer have taken the photos. I liked your location and the way you have made the book. Good one. I like that sun set pic in the last page.:)
