Yesterday I ran the Boston 13.1 half marathon with Team Challenge to raise money for the Crohn’s & Colitis foundation! There were lots more hills then expected, and they ran out of cups at the water stations, but I felt amazing and it was a great experience!!!

Congratulations! That’s a great achievement (for a great cause!). Any tips for others who want to run a half-M?

I trained with a group called Team Challenge. They participate in half marathons across the country to raise money for Crohn’s & Colitis. We had 4 coaches who would send us weekly motivating emails as well as had group training every saturday morning. I definitely suggest training with a group. It’s a great motivator and I’ve made some amazing friends!

Congratulations!!! I ran my first 1/2 last September and it was so hard. Plus it was so hot yesterday! I know a girl that ran in it yesterday and she said the last two miles were uphill which was so challenging. You should really pat yourself on the back and get a nice massage!

Saeliz- Ya it was pretty challenging. Luckily the group I trained with practiced on the course a couple of times although we didnt run all those hills haha.
Babyboo-Just you wait! It’s the most amazing feeling to finish a 1/2 marathon. You will be hooked! Keep going!
