I don’t think the ones I use have been mentioned. For Shampoo I use Sukin Purifying shampoo (from Australia) and Live Clean conditioner (Canadian.. maybe?). Both are free of phthalates, parabens, petroleum by-products, SLS, and sulphates. Most, if not all, my body products follow the same guidelines.

I used to use moroccan oil products, but recently have switched over to lush.

I have long, very thick, wavy/curly fine hair.  I find I need a gentle shampoo and conditioner.  Also, I do not have a very oily scalp so I only need to shampoo my hair once every 3/4 days.  Right now I am using Lush’s Fair Trade Honey shampoo and Retread conditioner (plus a little Happy Go Lucky on the ends because I like the scent!).   The retread is pretty cool because there are no silicones in it, therefore less buildup and happier hair. I then use moroccan oil on my damp hair while I brush it through, and then Lush’s R&B to help set the wave/curl.

@Gabthebee:  Aveeno.  I only ever use sulfate-free.  I would never put sulfates in my hair!

I alternate between Pureology and Redken Diamond Oil. I used to use Pureology for color treated, fine hair but my salon had a nice set with the shampoo and conditioner for color treated so I got that.

I use Amika! It’s absolutely amazing. I have really dry skin and a eczema especially on my scalp, and this has done wonders for my scalp AND my hair!

I use Lush’s Reincarnate shampoo (occasionally some of their Trichomania during swim season), and follow up with their R&B hair moisturizer. It’s like a leave in conditioner and curl tamer all-in-one that smells great and makes my hair super soft and shiny.

Most shampoos just make my skin break out, but Reincatnate is the only one I’ve been able to use for more than about three weeks without my scalp getting itchy, painful sores and eczema patches (which usually keep themselves on my legs).

@Gabthebee:  I fell in love with Herbal Essence back in the day. Loved how the boys would sit close and smell my hair. I was so disappointed when they started doing the new things and changed the scents. I am so glad they went back to it a couple of years ago. The Fiance gets mad if I try to use anything else.

this post inspired me to go out and buy more of the last shampoo I really loved.  Bedhead, urban antidote level 2 – I love it, it smells great, I buy it at winners so I get the giant litres bottles for about $15 and they have the pump making it super easy to use 🙂
