- Wedding: June 2012
Okay, so I have a REALLY complicated extended family. There’s my biological father who I’ve never met and won’t be at the wedding, so no problem – although his parents and sisters will be there. Then there’s my dad – the man who raised me – no brainer, he will walk me down the aisle and we’ll share a father-daughter dance. BUT my mom and dad divorced forever ago and mom has been married twice since then. So I have a stepdad from her second divorce who I still have a relationship with. And then there’s her current husband, who I also have a good relationship with. Both of these men have helped me out A LOT with the wedding, whether it be financially or by helping me make bouquets and flower arrangements. SO I’d like to share a dance with BOTH of them – I just have no idea what type of song to choose for this. And this is kind of a last minute idea – My wedding is this Saturday, but we’re doing an Ipod reception, so we can just add the songs to our playlist.
Any song suggestions? I plan on dancing to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw for the father-daugther dance…I don’t want to take away from this, but I’d like two special songs for these other two important men in my life.
