The SO and I had another talk last night and whilst the proposal is coming next year, he wants to wait until after he’s graduated and has a job. Which is fair enough but it also means I’m going to be waiting until after September… grrr… He’s also worried about the cost of rings and I assured him that 1) he doesn’t have to have the ring ready when he proposes and 2) if money was really an issue, I don’t need a ring. But he’s insisting on wanting to do it “properly” and had me download the pic of my dream ring into his computer… which is something positive right?
But I’m feeling a bit weird about the whole timeline nonetheless and need some cheering up with some ring porn. So if you wonderful bees out there can indulge me and share your dream ring pics, I’d be most appreciative 😀
Ideally, I’d like the yellow gold band with a snake motif and the tsavorite garnet or chrome tourmaline pear shaped centre stone without the diamonds.

I’ll love anything SO gives me, but if I could chose anything (besides my grandmother’s ring) it would be this.

I love the little details on this

Not sure if this image will upload (new to posting pics and uploading from my iPad)
This is the ring I am wishing for!

This is the one I picked out – still simple but with a little flair. Perfect for me!

Really any of the above rings I’ve pinned on pinterest I would loooove to have but this one in particular!

I’ve been waffling between 2 rings for a few weeks now, but yesterday I saw this, and it has the elements of both rings I’ve been eyeing. Sigh.

@Miss Circe: That’s a really interesting looking ring. Love all the intricate details to it! Very cool.

Oh, Harry Winston, how I lust after thee. Leon Mege is a close 2nd. To die for 🙂

@claireos: That is a GORGEOUS ring!

For a long time, I wanted the Harry Winston-style cushion halo (see above), but now I’m thinking maybe I just want a perfectly cut, big honkin’ solitaire on a thin band. 🙂 My dream diamond is the one below…an August Vintage Cushion from Good Old Gold.

@newenglandgirl: Right?! 🙂
That is one yummy stone. 🙂 I LOVE Cushions. I think it’s because every one can look so different from the next, like a personality. 🙂
