Hmm, we tried using Trojan Ultra Thin condoms, and they totally felt like nothing was there…. but afterwards we realized that was because it wasn’t actually there… it had split open.  I don’t know if we just got a bad batch or what though, because we’ve been too afraid to try them since!

MrsStormy: I got off my birth control in Oct and finding condoms was really hard for us too. Those were the first that we both actually liked. (as much as you can like a condom)

I think we are on a box of Trojan Ultra thin right now? We are liking them.  The only ones i’ve found I apsolutely didn’t like were the ice-heat ones (it feels like they use ice-y hot as the lubricant!) I haven’t had any problems with any of Trojans products, except for a very occasional user error.

The non latex ones are the most pleasant in my experience.  They don’t have that unpleasant rubbery smell and are thinner than latex.

We used to use Durex Avanti – I think they stopped making them, but they now have a product called Avanti Bare, which might be a different material than before, but still non-latex (I have a latex sensitivity). Anyway, I’m not a fan of condoms, but those weren’t very bad at all. We’ve also used Lifestyles Skyn, which aren’t terrible. I definitely recommend non-latex.

We really like the “multi packs” that both Trojan and Lifestyles make because it added some “spice” to the event.  There were some that we liked and some we didn’t care for, but it added the mysteriousness of “which one are you going to get”.

Plus there is something about a flavored or colored condom that makes me laugh hysterically 🙂

@auggiefrog:  LOL, my Fiance and I used these once (he had a variety pack and reached for it in the dark). It did not feel nice at all. We were both on fire (and not in a good way). I really thought i had an infection for about an hour or two until the effects subsided.

@auggiefrog:  Wow! Who came up with the idea of using ice-y hot down there? That’s insane!

Fiance and I mostly use Durex.. I went off BCP when we started dating because the hormones were making me crazy and I had already tried tons of pills and was getting tired of them. It was so weird at first to always have to remember the condoms, but after a while it became automatic. I have to admit, in the beginning I really disliked the smell and it distracted me, but now, it’s kind of a turn-on, like a Pavlovian (?) reflex 😀
