😛 My mom has it in her closet and she lives 45 minutes away. I am pretty sure this was the best decision I’ve made so far! hahaha

Nope. I didn’t want to get it dirty. Now that the wedding is done, I’m pretty much over it and now it’s just expensive clutter. I’ve never once considered wearing it.

Got it last night, so this morning I haven’t stopped inspecting it and trying it on even though its lace-up, hehehe. Embarassed

Trust me, I’ve been tempted but here is why I don’t give in; when prom rolled around for me, I put my prom dress on about once a day for 2 months leading up. It was old hat to me, when I actually got to put it on and wear it for real. I didn’t feel special wearing it because I’d put it on so many times before.

I won’t be seeing, or wearing my dress until alterations 🙂

I try mine on pretty often just to make sure it still fits…so it’s more out of paranoia than anything else 😉

@icetea:  +1 but by pretty often I would say its once every couple of months. I’m trying it on again soon to get measured for my veil. (I’m making it myself.)

@jessmicas: My dress is also at my moms.

I live with Fiance, so I don’t want him accidentally seeing it.  But if I had it with me, there is no doubt I would put it on a few times a week.  Sigh!

I don’t have the dress yet, but I do have my crystal sash here and there are definitely days when I feel a pretty strong urge to put it on and prance around the house.

Nope. I picked it up from the store and went straight to my first dress fitting. Went back two weeks later for my second fitting and then brought it home. I tried it on once (about 3 weeks after bringing it home) for my stepmom, and then again..today ironically…with my Maid/Matron of Honor since she hadn’t seen it after alterations and my veil came in. I’m 2 weeks out from my wedding.

For me its the veil.  I put it on and prance around the house…lol.  The dress is sitting in my closet but like pp, I’d need a friend to lace it up, and I live with Fiance.

Heck no. My biggest fear is that I’ll rip something or accidentally stain something. It’s only three more weeks until the wedding so I can manage.

I’ve actually tried it on since I got it SEVERAL times. My aunt had to see me in it… and I had to show my cousin who is more like my little sister… and well I just wanted to see it on me again. LOL! Now it’s packed away with all my stuff since I’m moving and it bugs me soooooo much. I loved seeing it hanging on the back of my old bedroom door. Reminded me that I was finally getting to marry him after years of talking about it! Can’t wait to have it upacked and I will probably have it on again at lease once or twice before the wedding day. I do have to get alterations since I’m not even 5′. Wink
