I don’t think that designing something is any worse than planning, really.  Designing your invitations doesn’t cost anything, and you won’t be put out if you have to change it, so at the end of the day, designing them is really just planning them.  I’ve been on Pinterest.  I see lots of girls who aren’t even dating anyone plan way more than this!

I vote you show us a pic!

SO is out of town tonight too! But instead of planning too much, I’m obsessively watching SYTTD on our shared netflix… it’s already full of romantic movies, and period-pieces. I figure he needs some SYTTD up there too…

I had invitations, wedding programs and a excel budget set up at the first hint that he might be ring shopping, so I completely understand!  A few weeks after we got engaged I remembered I had this stuff saved in a “secret” folder on my computer and it was such a help to have something done!

I also vote for a picture!

@HeartsandSparkles:  haha!  That’s awesome that your SO contributed to this!  I forgot I also had an excel spreadsheet of guests.  Also was very helpful once the time came!

Give us what we ask for….lol….I was on a total wedding porn kick about 2-3 days ago.  I have been trying to not go to The Knot but I did see that Alfred Angelo released his 2013 line on his site…still no Diamond Cinderella stuff but I love the new Tiana dress…So I have been pinning. My mom and I figuered out the first salon we will go to when we start dress shopping. My pintrest boards are sick. I love and live and breathe for pintrest. It has really saved my ass for household projects…Like when we ran out of floor cleaner and I had to make some.

Trying to stay away from the Angara website…

@subtlebee:  Yeah- its not necessary, i think it was about $20 and called “I Do” but it’s nice to have everything in one spot. There are to do lists, guest lists to help you keep track of addresses, RSVPs, gifts, thank you cards, and seating arrangements.  You can totally do it in excel though and there are free to do lists online. I haven’t spent too much time with it yet (I’m still waiting).  There is also software to help you design and print wedding invitations, table numbers, programs, and signs. We happened to walk by them at the computer store one day and they caught my attention. 🙂

@HeartsandSparkles:  Well if there is that much to do, then I suppose it can’t hurt! I learn so much here!
