Shhh, don’t tell… but yeah, if they’re really long I tend to skim them or skip it altogether.  I’m more likely to skip it when they write it out in one agonizingly long paragraph with no breaks.

@MadameTussaud:  I hear ya! A wall of text with no attempt at formatting is the fastest way to get me to hit the back button. It’s especially horrible when it’s all one sentence!

Some of the long ones are the best ones. I just play it by ear…eye?

Depends on how supportive I’m feeling, how much time I have, what the formatting is like and so on.  The topic is important, but the poster less so.  I try to treat everyone the same.

If the topic interests me and it’s readable, I don’t mind a long post.

I will be honest, one of the major factors for me is the grammar and spelling.  No, I am not a grammar nazi, but sometimes it is just so bad, I give up and move on.

The topic also ways heavily for me…I don’t even pay attention to who the poster is.

Formatting and spelling and grammar are big factors for me. If the post is easy to read, I don’t really care about the length.

Aint Nobody Got Time For That — Tosh.O? That was so funny.

As far as long posts go, just depends on my mood. I’ve been known to post stupidly wrong rambling posts and I’m just like…ugh, why did I post that?

@pink lantern:  If punctuation, grammar, and spelling are all really bad, and causes me to have a hard time understanding the poster, I skip them. I also don’t bother with those posts with not paragraph breaks.
