So, I kind of wanted to see what all the crazy things brides were going to do right before their wedding. I am more using this as a gauge to see how crazy I am.
Here is the list of my crazy beauty regiment that I am planning on doing, and how long before the wedding I am planning on getting it done:
- Chemical peel (1 year)
- Photofacial (1 year)
- Hair cut/color (2 weeks)
- Zoom Teeth Whitenening (2 weeks)
- Eyelash Extensions (2 days)
- Mani/Pedi (2 days)
- Go and glow very superficial peel (2 days)
Anyways, if any of you have done/are planning to do/know anyone that has done any of the above, I’d really love to hear about how it worked out and any advice you would have about getting the best results.
If any of you are shy about these things and want to play it off like you are going to go the natural beauty route, then just say you’re not doing it, but that SWIM is doing it.
Also, PLEASE NO JUDGMENT POSTS ON THESE! I am not looking to see your opinion on doing these things, especially if it’s going to be negative. I just want honest posts please!

Haha I really am the natural beauty type! Buuuuut that being said, I really wanted to take an extensive period of time on the morning of my wedding day to do all the things I usually don’t do…
Manicure (it’s been years!)
Full makeup (I wear makeup maybe once a year besides lip gloss..)
Hair done well (Ditto. I get it cut once a year, and style it myself prettily – I’m not a slob, even though I’m more earthy – but on my wedding day I want it to look fabulous!)
But, I’m a little concerned that if I’m expected to go to church in the morning since we have to be married on a Sunday, I won’t have time to finish all the wedding details and do pictures and a beauty routine :-/

Well if you want beautiful, glowing skin, nothing works better than just drinking a LOT of water for weeks before the wedding. I’m being serious. Add a few glasses of water with a little bit of lemon juice to your daily routine and your face will be GLOWING (but try not to overdo it because there is such a thing as water intoxication) in a more natural way.
Other things you can do is go jogging on your wedding day (I mean seriously, I know that sounds crazy, but your face will have a beautiful, healthy glow if you take a short, brisk jog before you start to get ready). Nothing that will make you all sweaty and nasty. I’m talking short, quick, and just enough to get a little natural pink in your cheeks.
Also, be careful with the products because if you’re not used to some of them, they may cause your skin to react in a terrible way. Finally, not taking a shower RIGHT before the wedding is probably the best thing you can do for your hair. Take a shower the night before instead, because your hair will have its natural oils and it will hold a lot better for the styles without all the flyaways/frizz.
