SO found a beautiful ering at Zales, showed it to me, and i LOVED it!!  He tends to last minute shop, so i thought for sure he would get within the week and propose. (apparently, he is putting a lot of thought into this purchase…lol)  So, my best friend and I went to the store to find it so I could see it in person….well, they didn’t have one in store, but had one very similar…i almost tried it on, but couldn’t do it.  I felt crazy enough sneaking around to the store to look for it without the SO knowing..

@WestCoast: this made me lol!

Hmmmm, well I have a wedding planner binder stashed underneath my bed. I also have about a years worth of Bride magazine at work.. A coworker gave them to me for my students’ collage magazine pile (needless to say the students aren’t cutting these up, their locked in a cabinet in my classroom). Lol, I think that’s it…

@WestCoast: loving this thread!!!

I’ve been putting off a trip to the mall to get my ring size even though I already know it. I’m just trying to be absolutely sure!

I find myself constantly browsing engagement ring sites, hoping my future ring is one of the ones I pick.

I’m on the Bee. ALWAYS. :/ Helps to pass the time…

Im a very impatient person, so this whole waiting thing isn’t going over too well, I’ll just say that.  😉

So I may have stopped in a jewelry store the other day and tried on some rings.  I was with a girlfriend (it was her idea).  My boyfriend has asked for a picture of what I like but we haven’t been “shopping” together yet.  I guess I feel a little guilty about trying rings on without him.  It was fun though!

I also have a giant stash of wedding magazines and I tear pages out for things that I like.

Probably worst of all, is my new addiction to this site.  I have spent way too much time lurking lately.

Ha ha – love these answers.

My friend works Tue, Wed, Thurs, and recently i’ve been taking Friday afternoons off of work. Last time I went to the Jewlers to look at ‘The Ring’ I saw one that was perfect for her (she’s already told me everything that she wants!) so we’re planning on visiting the jewlers (under the pretence that I need one of my other rings fixing – which I actually do) so that we can spend some time trying rings on while the guys are at work! : ) (oh and theres a cake shop next door to the jewlers to make things even better!)

A few weeks ago I was so sure that my e-ring was purchased and he was keeping it locked in our little safe as he has the only key to it/safe place to keep it.

When he was in the bathroom I found the safe key in his bag (ok I rummaged for it!), crept upstairs, looked under the bed to pull out the safe..

.. and the safe was GONE!! I had a quick look round the house but couldn’t find it. But it always WAS under the bed.

So that was an epic FAIL – and I am even more suspicious now – but please don’t tell SO!

Ooooh, this looks fun

1) I too have looked at the fake erings at Walmart. Not to find my size (I already know it) but because I’ve actually thought about buying one so I can wear it when I’m out without SO, so guys don’t hit on me.

2) I check Weddingbee a bazillion times a day

3) the mall that I work in also has a wedding dress shop in it, so sometimes when I take lunch I go over there and I look through the windows and oogle the dresses!

I just joined this site, so as of right now I am visiting it, when I should be doing laundry.

I have been on Pinterest non stop planning my non existant wedding. Hahaha

We looked at rings 2 years ago (did I mention we have been together for almost 6 years) but I am constantly looking at them online and sending them to my best friend (just in case he asks her).

I looked at wedding dresses this week…found a few I like. Would it be bad to go look at them in person? My best friend doesn’t think so. hahaha.
