like i said i was with a guy 4 years and we always talked about getting married (but never set a date) we were like…well go it after grad school….and then after college we broke up (was partially my fault but i did try to rectify the wrong) but like i said especially if ur only with him a year dont count on anything….

do you live together?

@glamachica45:  I believe all of the waiting bees understand the implications of preplanning and we will for sure learn from your story as you had.  ๐Ÿ™‚  We all understand the “what ifs.”

i was totally not judging you….i said it happened to me and i got really upset….and also when i double majored in college one of my majors was in psychology and i had to do a thesis field work thing on this topic….like working in the office of a psychologist and there are soooo many girls that have nervous breakdowns and need to take antideppressives when they plan ahead and it doesnt happen….like i saw it first hand. i am not being judgemental i am not that type of person….i just didnt want to see that happen to u hun…..you guys didnt have to flag me i was serious just trying to tell her 1) my experience where the guy left me after 4 yrs which was relevant since i was a waiting bride and 2) give her friendly advice nothing else…..flagging was really unecessary as i was not being judgemntal or mean to her….i just wanted her to benefit from the experience of someone whos been there and seen other ppl there and crushed…. sorry if it hurt ur feelings, it wasnt the intention at alll

again flagging was unneccessary

@WestCoast: Whew, I’m glad this didn’t get out of control.  Just to let you know, my confession when I was a waiting girl is the fact that I found Weddingbee when I was looking for a dress that came up in the Weddingbee Classified in a google search : )

telling everyone flagging was unneccessary is only going to stir up more drama. If you have a problem with it then take it to a mod in a PM. Everyone here has the right to decide if they want to flag something then the mods decide what to do about it

@glamachica45: I’d take a look back at some of the things you said and try and understand how they could come across as harsh and unsupportive on the Waiting boards. Telling someone “NOTHING IS EVER CERTAIN” and that they shouldn’t be on Weddingbee if they don’t have a ring on their finger is not exactly helpful.
