Not in any particular order, these are confidence-boosters for me:

Getting enough sleep and exercise helps me feel and look better.

While I care about the opinions of others, I don’t value anyone else’s opinion higher than I value my own.

Keeping toxic people at a distance.

Counting my blessings and being thankful for the love in my life.

Dressing well; knowing I look great (or doing my best to) before I walk out the door – outfit, jewelry, accessories, make-up, etc.

Refusing to ever be anyone’s doormat – the word NO is one of the best words ever.  (This was a hard lesson for me to learn because I tend to be overly caring sometimes, which can lead to over-committing and burnout.)

Knowing I can trust my own judgment when it comes to how I handle my life, in every aspect – from my intimate relationship with my Fiance, my role as a mother, as a professional in my career, as a friend.  I have confidence that I won’t make the wrong decision or let myself or anyone else down, at least to the best of my ability.

Trusting in my own intelligence.

Trusting in my own intuition and instincts.

Being always honest and sincere helps my confidence.

My faith in God.

Working out, making healthy eating habits and choices, putting on a little make up (i.e. concealer, mascara & gloss), keeping all the people I cannot stand away from me, making a list and checking off little goals I accomplished (even if it’s cleaning and organizing goals for the day or week). *keep focus on why we are getting married and not about the wedding
