Too Much Information, but my husband NEVER goes inside, EVER. While chances are low that I would get pregnant using birth control, he doesn’t want to put me into a position where I would have to go through an abortion. As a man, I know that never being able to carry out an orgasism “to the end” so to speak is disappointing; but we talk about this all the time, and he tells me that being overly protective makes him happy vs. enjoying that single moment to its fullest.
I’m not sure what the problem is either, if he is adamant about getting the surgery, let him get it.
I’m another person advocating for a copper IUD. I had pain issues with the Paragard, so found out that in Canada they have a smaller one called the Flexi-T 300, which I just got! Found a wonderful youth clinic in Montreal and arranged to get it there!
After the insertion of the Paragard I had, I was miserable for a few days. Then I had a lot of cramps for a while. With this one, so far I had cramps the evening after getting it, then the next morning, and since then, only a few tiny twinges. I love having an IUD!
Pinkmermaid,,, I didn’t read all of the replies but if there’s a slightest doubt about the vasectomy, to me that sounds like you might want kids in the future or at least you’re not sure if you def. don’t want kids. If you are 100% sure you don’t why not just get your tubes tied and your hubs get a vasectomy? Yes it’spermanent (well reversals don’t always work) but if you are sure then you won’t have to worry about pregnancies.
